Welcome to Musee. (Herein "Musee").


This Policy describes how Musee ("us," "we" or "Musee") uses and discloses information of you when you access or use the Musee mobile application(collectively, the "Service"). We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully when using our Services or transacting business with us. By using our Service, you are acknowledging the practices described in this Privacy Policy.


What Personal Information Do We Collect?

1. Information You Voluntarily Provide. This may include your name, date of birth, gender, sexual orientation, email address, Google or Apple account, phone number, photos, videos, location, bio. Once you register, you will be able to review and change the information at any time by accessing your "Profile" page.


If you contact our support team using the email address <[email protected]>, we collect your email address and the content of the email/feedback that you send to us to help resolve your query. We will keep records of our communications with you, including any complaints that we receive from you about other Users (and from other Users about you).


We recommend and encourage you to think carefully about the personal information you disclose about yourself to other users. We do not recommend that you put email addresses, URLs, instant messaging details, phone numbers, full names or addresses, credit card or other financial details, national identity numbers, drivers' licence details or other sensitive information on your profile or in a chat message since such information may be open to abuse and misuse.


While you may voluntarily provide us with sensitive information about yourself such as your ethnicity, personal interests, religion or other sensitive information there is no requirement to do so.Where you choose to post sensitive personal information about yourself the information you share is at your own risk.


2. Information We Automatically Collect: When you use the Musee Dating app, we automatically collect and store certain information about your mobile device, location, and your activities within the app. This information includes type of device (model and manufacturer), operating system and version number, app version number, IP address, and the date and time you accessed our services.


We may also include your GPS location (if you allowed location services), and/or location data derived from your IP address, such as postal code, city, state, and country. If you clicked on a Musee ad, which ad you clicked on, the date and time you clicked on the ad will be included.


If you made a purchase in the Musee Dating app we record what product you purchased, the quantity purchased, the price of the product, the date and time the purchase was made, and the expiry time of the purchase (if applicable). Neither Apple nor Google provide us with any personal information from your Apple iTunes or Google Play account.


As you use the Musee app we also collect data with regards to your actions within the app. This data may include the date, time, and location you opened the app, content you have liked or disliked, if you have read, or deleted any messages, any changes made to your profile or account settings, and the date and time you deactivated your account.


3. Cookies and Use of Cookie Data: When you visit the Service, we may assign your device one or more cookies to facilitate access to our Service and to personalize your experience. Through the use of a cookie, we also may automatically collect information about your activity on our Service, such as the pages you visit, the time and date of your visits and the links you click. If we advertise, we (or third parties) may use certain data collected on our Service to show you advertisements on other sites or applications.


4. Data Collected by Third Parties through Third Party Links: On our website we include links to other websites and other content from third party businesses. These third-party businesses may use cookies, web beacons or other similar technology to collect information about you. We do not have access to or control over these third parties or the cookies, web beacons or other technology that these third parties may use. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties or the content on any third-party websites. How We Use the Information We Collect

1.How We Use Personal Information:We may use your email address and your other personal information to help us efficiently operate the Services, to contact you in connection with your membership and other activities on the App. To add certain content, like pictures or videos, you may allow us to access your camera or photo album. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at the address provided at the end of this Privacy Policy. These types of communications are known as "Operational Communications." To operate the Services, we may share your personal information with our agents, representatives, contractors and service providers so they can provide us with support services such as authorization of credit card transactions, email origination, receipt or support services, and customer relationship management services. Besides, any third party with whom we are allowed to share your personal information is authorized to use your personal information in accordance with our contractual arrangements with such third parties and in accordance with their own privacy policies, over which we have no control, and you agree that we are not responsible or liable for any of their actions or omissions. 2.How We Use Financial Information:If you choose to buy any of our paid services, we will handle your payment details and store them in a secure manner to prevent fraud and for purposes of auditing and taxation.


3.Location Information and Services:This Service includes location based services and features. These features are used to connect you to other users based upon your geographic location, and provide other services that personalize your experience. To implement these features we collect your location data, including but not limited to GPS data, WiFi data, and cell tower data.


4.Special Cases in which we Share Personal and Financial Information:Your personal information, Certified Financial Information or financial information may be passed on to a third party in the event of a transfer of ownership or assets, or a bankruptcy or to comply with the law or to protect the interests or safety of Musee or other visitors to the Site.

2.Disclosure to our service providers and partners: We engage with trusted third parties to help us operate and improve our Services in terms of customer care, marketing, analytics, data hosting and maintenance, payment processing, communication, and security operation. We may also share information with partners who distribute and assist us in advertising our services. We follow a strict vetting process prior to engaging any service provider or working with any partner. Our service providers and partners must agree to strict confidentiality obligations.


3.Disclosure to Trusted Third Parties at Your Request: When purchasing an Musee subscription or while visiting our Services, we may provide you with advertisements, promotions and offers from third party providers. Please refer to the third party provider's own privacy policy (provided on the offer pages) if you have any questions regarding how your information is used by such providers. You agree that we will not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings, including the sharing of the information you supply to us with third party providers described here, or as the result of the presence of such providers on a Musee Service.


How You Can Access Your Information

You have the right to access, update, and correct the personal information we hold about you. To do so, you can log into your account and make changes directly through the App. If you are unable to update your information through the App, or if you would like to request a copy of your data, you can contact us at <[email protected]>. In addition, if you believe any of the information we have about you is incorrect or outdated, you may request that we correct or delete it. Please note that in certain cases, we may be unable to fulfill your request due to legal or contractual obligations. If that happens, we will explain the reasons for our inability to comply.

How We Protect Your Personal Information

Musee has implemented technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We restrict access to personal information to authorized personnel only and regularly review our security procedures to ensure compliance with best practices.


Unfortunately, no website or Internet transmission is ever completely 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will ever occur, but here are some handy tips to help keep your data secure:


1. Please log in to Musee on a trusted device.


2. Please don’t share the password you use to access your Musee Account with anyone else.


3. Change your password periodically.


Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account at any time. If you choose to delete your account, please note that this action is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleting your account will remove your personal information from our system, although we may retain certain data for legal, security, or operational purposes as required by law.


You can delete your account by clicking Me>Settings>Delete Account,please be aware that after account deletion, you may lose access to certain features or services associated with your account.

Data Retention

Personal information can only be kept temporarily for continued service and legitimate purposes, and we retain the information complying with applicable laws. The content stays as long as the account still exists. After your account is terminated, we will delete your personal information, as laid out below:


We adhere to a strict data retention policy that involves deleting most of your data and retaining only limited information for specific purposes, as explained below:


1. We retain a limited amount of data to fulfill our legal data retention obligations. Additionally, we store records of members' consent to demonstrate compliance with applicable laws.


2. We maintain limited information on the basis of our legitimate interests. For instance, we keep customer care records and supporting data to help us make informed decisions about customer care, enforce our rights, and defend ourselves in case of claims.


3. Lastly, we maintain information based on our legitimate interests when there is an ongoing or potential issue, claim, or dispute that requires us to keep data. This includes instances where we receive a valid legal subpoena or request for data preservation, in which case we would need to retain data to comply with our legal obligations. We also keep data that may be necessary for legal proceedings.


Please note that even though our systems are designed to carry out data deletion processes according to the above guidelines, we regret that we can't promise all data will be deleted within a specific timeframe due to technical constraints.


Children's Privacy

We are not intended for use by children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under the applicable age, we will take steps to delete such information as soon as possible.
